Trip Description: This trip will take us to the western part of Sichuan, where it is home to largest number of wild pandas and also home to multiple ethnic minority groups include Tibetans and Qiang. After seeing pandas in the panda base, we will spend most of our time to visit the panda habitats to gain a better understanding about panda habitats, communities near the habitat and current situations. With a local expert, we will hike into the bamboo forest to study the panda traces and recognize plants and birds in the habitat. Toward the end of the trip, we will spend two days to explore Jiuzhaigou National Park, a world heritage site and extremely famous for its water sceneries. |

Day 3 Hike in the habitat and study panda traces in the habitat. Day 4 Drive to Baima Tibetan Village and stay in local Tibetan Family Day 5 Hike in panda habitat with local expert.
