Trip Overview
As one of the most important panda habitats, Minshan Mountains accomadate about 600 pandas and a number of other endangered animals such as Sichuan Takin and golden monkeys. Located in the edge of Qinhai Tibetan Plateau, Minshan Mountains are also home to a number of Chinese ethnic groups including Qiang, Hui, Anduo Tibetan and Baima Tibetan. In this trip, we will explore the rich wildlife resources, diverse minority culture and nature wonders in the Minshan Mountains. We will come face to face with giant pandas in Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Base, hike by the side of gem-like lakes in Jiuzhaigou National Park and have opportunities to see some endangered local wildlife such as Golden Monkeys, Black-necked Crane and sika deer. The colorful prayer flags and prayer wheels of the pious Tibetan People, the alert grazing deers, elegant black-necked cranes will give us lots of opportunities to photograph.
