AbsolutePanda is the ONLY travel company in the world focused on pandas and other endangered animals in China, providing top-notch eco-friendly trips that make great experiences and life-time memories for our clients. Our goal is to create a win-win situation for the people and animals. We help our clients to obtain better understandings of those animals, their habitats and minority cultures who live in the surrounding area through carefully-planned visits. At the same time we hope that the local people can benefit from those programs and realize the importance of protecting those endangered animals and their habitats.

Core Team Members

Philip He		As a half Kangba Tibetan, Philip is the founder of AbsolutePanda and native of Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. He has a deep love of the land where he was born and raised. Philip's career has gone from mining technician to teacher to translator and finally to a guide and tour operator. Along the way, Philip discovered his passion and love for helping tourists understand the beauty and history of his people and homeland. Philip is known for his ability to plan and execute unique and exciting adventure trips exploring the sights off the usual tourist routes. He is active, open-minded, and adventurous and always ready to share interesting and useful information with his clients. With the establishment of AbsolutePanda, Philip hopes to bring his educational fun-filled tours to more people eager to explore and learn about China.
Lily Goo
		As a  co-founder of AbsolutePanda, Lily was graduated from Sichuan University with degrees in English literature and accounting. Lily takes her responsibilities in planning trips very seriously, always coming up with innovative ideas reflecting the needs and desires of her clients.Though new to the travel field, Lily has demonstrated her tremendous talents in managing tours.In 2007, Lily sucessfully managed the AbsolutePanda tour program involving almost 1000 people during the annual event of a Global-500 company. Lily performs her duties with great efficiency, patience and willingness to work with and serve her clients. Her outgoing personality, enthusiasm and attention to the hidden details will make your China tour one of the highlights of your life.
Frank Wei
		Frank is one of the top guides of AbsolutePanda. He has worked as a national guide for AbsolutePanda trips and Yangtze River Cruise tours. Just as his name suggests, Frank is open and friendly and treats his clients as friends. Throughout his tour guide career, Frank has been rated as an excellent China guide and ambassador for China. He enjoys meeting new people and sharing his ideas and information about the country of his birth. Frank's warm and friendly personality, extensive knowledge about pandas and the history, culture and social life of China, attention to details and dedication to providing excellent service will make your China tour the adventure of your dreams
Bruce Chen
		Bruce is a seasoned and enthusiastic guide born and grown up in Sichuan Province. He has been working in the travel industry for about ten years and well versed in the needs of international travelers and able to bring together knowledge of China and an understanding of the West to deliver premium experiences to his guests. Prior to being an English guide, He has been well trained in rock climbing skills, first aid and mountaineering. His love for the outdoors has taken him to China’s most beautiful locales, including Shangri-La, the Himalayas, the Pamir mountains and the Qinghai / Tibetan Plateau. In the early of 2010, Bruce joined AbsolutePanda as a expert guide for outdoor trips including trekking and cycling.
Jiawei Wu
		Wu Jiawei, photographer birding advisor and expert birding guide of AbsolutePanda. He is mainly responsible for photographing trips and birding trips in AbsolutePanda. Majored in forestry, he graduated from Sichuan Agriculture University. The enthusiasm in his heart toward nature and birds drives him to become an expert in both ornithology and great photographer from taking photos of birds. He used to work as a Standing Director of a local bird watching society, Assistant of secretary-general of Sichuan Zoology Society and Chengdu Institute of Biology, in charge of bird-watching and engaging in eco-tourism business.  He spends almost all his free time watching birds and taking photos of those lovely birds wherever he sees them.
Kai Wang		Kai Wang, cycling guide of AbsolutePanda, was born in 1981 and a native Chengdu. His deep love of cycling from his heart has made him devote most of this time to his sports. His out-going personality and good teamwork make him popular among the riders. After many years of working in the cycling field, he has accumulated good knowledge about cycling routes and developed good capability in both riding and on-site maintenance. His rich experiences in cycling will help you explore the corners of this city and province by bike which you can’t reach otherwise
