My friend Loeta and I are from the USA. We found AbsolutePanda by surfing on the web. We compared the AbsolutePanda programs with a number of others which have volunteer programs from where we are from. Philip by far the best. It allows most flexibility; It allowed us different place to stay and different menu options; we could arrive a date of our choice; we can stay as long as we wanted. It was a great flexibility. We have a wonderful time. It was even more than we had expected. The pandas are wonderful. I highly recommend anybody travel with AbsolutePanda and Philip in the future.

Rick, David and I returned home and I now have time to provide some thoughts on the trip that you arranged for us in Sichuan Province. First, overall, it was a very good trip. We saw a lot, got some feeling for the different cultures within the region, and enjoyed the people and the scenery, as well as the food. We were pleased with Echo as our guide since he listened to us, and adjusted to what we wanted to do and provided flexibility. We also appreciated our driver, as it appeared that he knew most of the places and ensured, along with Echo, that we ate well at local restaurants-ones that most westerners would not see. Plus he was a good and careful driver in what I would term the wild west of driving. I felt as safe as could be given some of the other drivers.

We wanted to thank you for the wonderful trip in Sichuan. It is definitely a place that we want to return to - the mountains, water, flowers, sky, scenery - the children say that was their favourite part (mine as well), and I am already thinking of what we would do there when we return. The food was fanstastic, in large part because of your choices of restaurant and ordering of food. In particular, you have our heartfelt thanks for being so great with the children. It is not always easy travelling with children, but you were super. It would have been difficult for us to spend 7 days with a guide and  driver that we didn't get along with,or that wasn't very good (and also for the guide I imagine!). However, you were great - with the children, with our requests, with telling us about the culture and language, with everything. Quite simply, the trip would not have been half as good without.
