Zoige Wetland Park
Locate in Ruoergai county, of Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, is on the northeast edge of the Qinghai-tibet plateau in northern Sichuan province.

Zoige National Wetland park is located in the southwest corner of Ruoergai County Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan province where the Yellow and White River intersect. Zoige wetland, with a total area of 2662.69 hectares, is the world's largest and best preserved of plateau peat swamp wetland, as well as the typical representative of the Qinghai-Tibet plateau alpine wetland ecosystem.
The terrain of Ruoergai National Wetland Park is very flat, with dense river network, numerous marshes and lakes.Lakes and slow-flowing rivers form a great number of plant communities in the wetland park, and gradually form a thick layer of peat..As a result, Ruoergai National Wetland park is also known as "the kidney of the western plateau of China".
Hot spots to visit
· Located along the 213 national road between Ruoergai in Sichuan province and Langmu temple in Gansu province.
· The lake shore is thick with reeds, named for a kind of white flower blooming in the lake. It is the best place to watch the black-necked crane, a national first-class protected animal.
· Huahu lake(Flower lake) is vast and unfathomable water marsh. Walking along the boardwalk along the lake, you can go deep into the middle of the wetland.
· Once rated as the most beautiful wetland in China by national geographic magazine, the best time to visit is from June to September, and the middle of July is the peak bloom time.
The First Bend of Yellow River
The Yellow River from of Gansu intersect Bai in its the "S" type bend. The Yellow River water like a fairy ribbon slowly floating from the horizon in Sichuan then gently touched and turned back to Qinghai, this forms the first bend of the Yellow River.The overlooking view of the grassland,water, even the sky is boundless and gentle.
Nature and wildlife
According to the observation statistics, there are 45 species of wetland animals living in the park, including fish, amphibians, 25 species of birds. It is also an important breeding ground for the black-necked crane, the only crane species to live on the plateau above 3,000 meters.It has been observed that at least eight to nine pairs of black-necked cranes live and breed in the park every year.

The best time to visit is from June to September, and the middle of July is the peak flower bloom time.
