Since 1987，with 6 weak giant pandas rescued from nature，Chengdu panda base have gave birth to more than 200 baby pandas and take great care of this treasure species and its natural habitat.

It is a Buddhism temple in north part of the city with beautiful temple buildings and unique Chinese garden. This monastery is still functional and welcome by locals. People believe that you can come and pray to get more wisdom.

Wuhou Shrine

Wuhou Shrine represent the culture of the Three Kingdoms Period (220 - 280) .It is the place for people to commemorate Liubei (the emperor of Shuhan) and Zhuge Liang (the Marquis Wu of the Kingdom of Shu). The current Wuhou Shrine was rebuilt in 1672.

Jingli Street
It is a famous must visit street next to Wuhou Shrine. It is good to discover some world intangible world culture heritage and have a taste of local snacks in Jingli Street.

Kuang Zhai Alley
It is combined with 3 parallel streets which are called Wide Alley (Kuan Xiangzi), Narrow Alley (Zhai Xiangzi), Well Alley (Jing Xiangzi). It dated back to the Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1911 AD). With the architecture of both Chinese North and south style.

People’s Park
Built in 1911, it is a good place to sit in an old tea house with locals by the lake and watch all kinds of exhibitions and performances on the Rockery Square. There is a match maker corner for local parents to help their children to find their another half.

Wangjiang Tower
The Wangjiang Tower used to be the highest building of Old Chengdu, also called Chongli (grand and beautiful in Chinese) Tower. It is inside the Wangjiang Park which is famous for hundreds of different bamboo. Also it is a place to commemorate Xue Tao (AD768～AD832) the famous poetess of Tang Dynasty(（about 1260 years ago）.

Anshun Bridge

It is a must visit sight at night and it is the landmark of Chengdu city. With the ancient bridge and the skyscraper shining together by the river, excellent place to enjoy nice view, music and drink.

Qintai Road and Sichuan Opera
Qintai Road is about 900 meters long,its buildings are with the styles of the Han (202BC -- 220AD) and Tang (618 - 907) dynasties.It is a famous cultural street to commemorate the love story of two legendary figures,Zhuo Wenjun and Sima Xiangru.

Sanxingdui is the ruins of the capital of the ancient Shu Kingdom（4,000 years ago）. The discovery of Sanxingdui predates 2,000 years of Sichuan's history. The bronze mask and high bronze tree discovered are very unique.
